Fuel Management System for UAE Fleets — Every Refuel Matched to a Trip and a Named Driver

In October 2026 Super 98 costs AED 4.40 per litre in the UAE, up from AED 3.80 in September, and diesel costs AED 4.80. At these prices every unexplained litre is money lost. A fuel card shows when and where fuel was bought, and a tracker shows where the vehicle went, but neither shows who was driving a shared company car. CT Mobility is a fuel management and fuel monitoring system for UAE fleets that links each refuel, fuel drop and kilometre to the trip and to the named employee who booked it.

Fuel prices in October 2026: what one company car costs per month

The UAE Fuel Price Committee sets fuel prices every month. The table uses October 2026 prices and two example vehicles that each drive 3,000 km per month: a sedan using 8 litres per 100 km and a pickup using 12.

FuelPrice per litre, October 2026Sedan, 240 L per monthPickup, 360 L per month
Super 98AED 4.40AED 1,056AED 1,584
Special 95AED 4.28AED 1,027AED 1,541
E-Plus 91AED 4.21AED 1,010AED 1,516
DieselAED 4.80AED 1,152AED 1,728

Compared with September 2026, Super 98 rose from AED 3.80 to AED 4.40 per litre and diesel from AED 4.30 to AED 4.80: AED 144 more per month for the sedan on Super 98 and AED 180 more for the pickup on diesel. A fleet of 20 such sedans now spends about AED 21,120 on fuel per month, and every 10 litres that disappear cost AED 44 of Super 98 or AED 48 of diesel.

How fuel theft and fuel waste happen in company fleets

Fuel losses in a company fleet are usually small, repeated and hard to see in a monthly invoice:

  • Card misuse: a company fuel card is used for a private car, a second vehicle or a container.
  • Fuel taken from the tank: fuel is removed from a parked vehicle at night or at a site.
  • Personal trips: a pool car or pickup is used in the evening or on a day off.
  • Long idling: the engine runs for air conditioning while the driver waits.
  • Shared cars: several employees use one car and one card, so nobody is responsible.

The risk is real: Gulf News reported a case in which two bus drivers embezzled diesel worth AED 107,000. Without trip and driver data, such losses are hard to prove and easy to repeat.

Fuel cards in the UAE: Emarat Safeer, ADNOC Smart Tag and ENOC ViP

If your company pays for fuel with a corporate card or tag, these tools control the purchase:

  • Emarat Safeer PLUS: cards per vehicle, per driver or open, with daily, weekly or monthly limits and fuel-product restrictions.
  • ADNOC: corporate accounts in ADNOC Wallet and the ADNOC Smart Tag, an RFID chip at the vehicle's fuel inlet.
  • ENOC ViP: RFID fuelling for fleets.

Limits and RFID tags reduce the risk of fuel going into the wrong vehicle. They do not show whether the trip was for work, who was driving a shared car, how far the vehicle drove, or whether fuel left the tank later. A fuel monitoring system closes this gap.

CT Mobility works alongside your existing card or tag: you keep your fuel provider, and CT Mobility adds the trip, the vehicle data and the driver. Export the CT Mobility trip and fuel report and compare it with your provider's fuel-card report for the same period.

What a fuel management system should check: refuel, trip, location, mileage and driver

The core of fuel control is reconciliation: each fuelling on the fuel-card report should match a trip in which the vehicle was at that station, the fuel level rose and a named employee was driving. In CT Mobility each trip starts with a booking, a selfie liveness check and a keyless unlock by phone, and the trip record holds the route, times, mileage and the fuel level reported by the vehicle's telematics.

  1. Export the period: the trip and fuel report for the same dates as the fuel-card report.
  2. Compare line by line: for each fuelling, find the trip covering that date and time and check the points below.
  3. Review the exceptions: the trip record, route and photos are the evidence; your fuel policy decides the next step.
CheckWhat should matchWhat a mismatch can mean
Time and station of the fuellingThe vehicle was at that station, inside a booked tripThe card was used for another vehicle, a container or outside working hours
Litres boughtThe fuel level rose by about the same volume, within the tank sizePart of the fuel did not go into this vehicle
DriverA named employee had booked the tripA shared card, or use without a booking
Fuel per 100 kmClose to vehicles of the same model on similar workFuel taken from the tank, long idling, or a data issue
Fuel level between tripsStable while the vehicle is parkedFuel taken from a parked vehicle

A mismatch is a reason to check, not proof of theft: fuel-level readings can vary, so check the trip and talk to the driver first.

Fuel monitoring alerts: sudden fuel drops and use outside booked trips

Alerts arrive when something happens, without waiting for the monthly report:

  • Sudden fuel drop: the fuel level falls quickly, for example while the vehicle is parked.
  • Low fuel: the vehicle needs refuelling before the next booking.
  • Use outside a booked trip: the ignition is switched on or a door is opened when no trip is booked.
  • Zone entry and exit: a yard or a site you defined.

Alerts go by push, email or SMS and can be turned into a task for your team. Access rules by employee, department, vehicle, day and time prevent many problems: if a car may not be used at night or on a day off, the app does not allow that booking. Fuel cost per car and per driver in AED

Fuel and mileage reports compare consumption by vehicle, model and driver. Multiply the litres from the exported report by the price of the month and you have the fuel cost in AED per car, per department or per driver. You also see which vehicles use more fuel than others of the same model, and with the utilisation reports, which cars are under-used and can leave the pool.

The same trip record matches traffic fines and Salik tolls to the driver. See also the vehicle booking system for employees, pool car management and construction fleet management for contractors' pickups.

Fuel data, vehicles and pricing

Fuel level comes from the telematics device connected to the vehicle. The data source and its accuracy depend on the vehicle model, so during the demo we check your models and agree what the pilot should measure. The platform is multi-hardware and works with telematics devices such as Teltonika.

CT Mobility costs AED 50 per vehicle per month, with tracking included and the driver known on every trip. A pilot for up to 2 vehicles with no subscription fee for 3 months lets you test the reconciliation on your own vehicles and fuel-card reports before you decide; only the hardware, installation and mobile data are paid. Frequently asked questions

What is a fuel management system for a fleet?

Software that records the fuel each vehicle uses and connects it with trips, mileage and drivers, so the company sees the fuel cost per vehicle, finds unusual consumption and gets alerts on fuel drops. In CT Mobility it is part of the fleet platform, with GPS tracking and driver identification.

Can CT Mobility detect fuel theft?

It shows the signs: sudden fuel drops, use outside booked trips and consumption far above similar vehicles. When you compare the exported data with your fuel-card report, fuellings without a matching trip or fuel-level rise stand out. Each case is linked to the vehicle, the time and the named driver, so your team can check it with evidence.

Does it work with Emarat, ADNOC or ENOC fuel cards?

You keep your existing fuel card or tag; CT Mobility does not replace it. Export the CT Mobility trip and fuel report and compare it with your provider's fuel-card report for the same period.

How often do fuel prices change in the UAE?

Every month. The UAE Fuel Price Committee announces new prices for Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91 and diesel. In October 2026 they are AED 4.40, AED 4.28, AED 4.21 and AED 4.80 per litre.

How much does CT Mobility cost?

AED 50 per vehicle per month, with tracking included. A pilot for up to 2 vehicles with no subscription fee for 3 months is available; only the hardware, installation and mobile data are paid.
